Welcome to Mr. Greene's U.S. and World History Courses!

Hello! My name is Mr. Greene and this is my third year teaching at Lake Weir High. I am excited to meet all you and ready to start a fantastic school year. I am a native of Marion County having graduated from Lake Weir High School. I received my degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Social Studies from the University of South Florida. Before graduating, I interned at Franklin Middle Magnet School and taught 8th grade U.S. History. I have also taught eighth grade U.S. History at Liberty Middle School. I have an open door policy so if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to stop by class or contact me by email or phone. My preferred method of contact outside of school is email. Unfortunately due to the continued spread of the Covid-19 virus, this year will be very different from previous years. There will be a number of changes to our daily schedules and the manner in which we learn. When we first meet, we will go over all of all the precautions to be taken and discuss the various uncertainties that could present themselves over the course of this school year. Despite all these changes, I know that we will still have a great year and I look forward to being your teacher.
