Welcome to Mr. Kim’s Earth and Space Science class. During this difficult time for distance learning I am using a program called Microsoft OneNote. The best way to get there is through your student’s school provided email. If you have any questions please email me at Jacob.email@example.com . You may also call or message me at (352) 641-0245. The best time for a quick response is between 8:30am – 4:00pm.
If your student is in my first period, they may also contact Mrs. Brown. Mrs. Brown is the support teacher for my first period and you can contact her at Brenda.firstname.lastname@example.org or (352) 897-0192
Any issues with the distance learning such as program questions or issues with the Chromebooks please call the help line 352-867-2100 Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m.. to 4:30 p.m..
The OneNote program that we are using works off the same program that the student email is from, office 365. Every Student was sent an invitation link to this program through their student email. To access their student, email the students need to sign into their student desktop. https://desktop.marion.k12.fl.us/LoginPolicy.jsp . Once they are logged into their desktop they need to look for and open the program called office 365. Then select Outlook (The email program).
If you are logged into another Microsoft student account, such as their brother or sisters they will not have access. Make sure that you sign into your student account. A tutorial video is located under OneNote Help.
To access your online textbook you need login to your student portal and go to course schedule . Under course schedule you will see a list of your online textbooks for your classes if they have one. If you are still having trouble I have placed the textbook chapters in the class notes tab in the online OneNote Class notebook.
