This week's challenge is to walk for at least 20 minutes after your evening meal each night! As we all adjust to our new normal, finding ways to fit fitness into your day may look a little different. By making walking part of your nightly routine, you will accumulate an extra 140 minutes of physical activity each week...do this for a year and you will have walked 7,280 minutes!
Studies show that walking for 20 minutes after meal time can:
- reduce blood sugar level- burn extra calories before hitting the hay- improve digestion (good-bye heart burn)Can't get outside for your evening stroll?
