Hello and Welcome to Life Science!

My name is Mrs. Lewis-Espinoza (Mrs. Lewis for short) and I am a Life Science teacher at Howard Middle School. It is my 5^th year here.  Before coming to Howard, I taught high school chemistry in Seminole, Palm Beach, and Broward counties.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Science Education from the University of Central Florida.  I am certified in Chemistry 6-12, Mathematics 6-12, Middle Grades Science 5-9, and have a gifted endorsement.

I have a strong love of science and hope to inspire you to enjoy science also.  This year will be unlike anything we have done or seen so far, but we will make it through together.
