A short Teams overview video has been created to demonstrate for parents how their student will access Teams as well as the basics of how their student will use Teams. This video is currently linked on the district website as well.

FOR STUDENTS:
If you are in my virtual classes, here are the instructions on how to access our class.
- Log into your portal.
- Click on Office 365
- Open your email (Outlook)
- Click on your calendar in the bottom left corner
- You will see your scheduled classes on the calendar.
- All you need to do is click on the class period you need and click join.
Another way to access your class:
- Log into your portal
- Click on office 365
- Click on "Teams"
- Click on the calendar tab on the left and choose your class
- Click join to enter the class.

***Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
Read 180 Universal, System 44 and Escalate - These are intensive reading classes for 6th, 7th or 8th-grade students. This series promises great technology resources and support materials to make your students stronger readers and more confident comprehenders.

- We will be using Microsoft Teams for our distance learning.
- Attendance will be taken based on students' signing in to each daily class through Microsoft Teams.
- Virtual classes will be run on our regular school bell schedule.
- Every student is expected to log onto their on-line classroom with a positive attitude.
- Students are expected to be in their correct on-line class at the correct time.
- All students will respect one another, and the teacher.
- Students need to come prepared to class every day and work during the whole class period.
- Participation in class activities is crucial in the learning process.
- Students will need to bring their binder, mechanical pencil or pen, notebook paper and agenda planner to class every day!
