  • Greetings students and parents of Horizon Academy! 

     

    I am Horizon Academy’s  School Counselor for the 6th and 8th grade! I am here to help students succeed in the three major areas personal social/personal, academic, and career development. I have been serving the students of Marion county for more than 20 years.  I have been serving as a Florida certified School Counselor for the past 14 years.

ACADEMIC ADVISING

  • Students please check your grades weekly. You need to pass Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies all 3 years (for a total of 12 units) in order to be promoted to high school at the end of the 8th grade. IF you fail a core course you must retake the course and pass it to get to the high school.  If you have any questions, please contact me.
