Hi! My name is MaryLei Villella. Ususally the first thing that I need to explain to my students and parents is how to pronounce my last name! The easiest way I have found to do this is to explain that if you say Vanilla, you can say Villella ("Va-lel-la"). 

I have been teaching for 6 years. I have only ever taught Gifted students for that entire time and can't see myself teaching anything else! 

I worked for three years to receive my Gifted Endorsement, while teaching Gifted and growing my family. 

I have been married for as long as I have been teaching and have three beautiful daughters. Adaline and Evelynn are 3 (twins) and my youngest is Isablle who is almost 2. I understand what it means to be a busy parent! 

I love my quirky, smart, quick witted, Gifted students who I feel understand me as well as I understand them. I look forward to challenging and motivating each and every one of my students to find their unique strengths.
