News Show/Video Production Club
Our Morning news show, AES TV airs daily. It is a prerecorded show uploaded to youtube. Typically, different students in our video production club and students in grades 4 and 5 work on the show throughout the year. (Right now, Covid 19 Protocols are in place. See above.) Additionally, students learn how to write scripts, use cameras, and ipad equipment. They also learn the basics of making videos using imovie and Do ink apps.
The purpose of our morning show is to let the school know about daily and future happenings at Anthony. If your class is doing something special, let Ms. Ross know and she will be glad to include this information on the AES TV morning show!
Back to TopSunshine State Young Readers' Award Program
The Sunshine State Young Readers' Award program presents fifteen books chosen each year by a committee of Florida librarians. They are chosen for their quality and appeal and represent some of the best in children's literature today. Students in grades 3 through 5 are encouraged to read at least three of the books, so they can vote for their favorite. Every year, the author of the book with the most statewide votes is presented with the Sunshine State Young Readers' Award. Students who complete 3 books will attend the ice cream reveal party on the day the winners are announced!
