Important Information:

We are working hard to keep everyone safe and healthy. Please make sure that your child has a face covering as they are required to be worn while on school property any time social distancing cannot be achieved (buses, hallways, classroom etc.). Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth. One face shield will be provided to each student, this face shield will stay at school and be sanitized each day. I have found that using a lanyard or necklace of some sort is very helpful in keeping masks on hand and off the ground or other contaminated areas. 

   Water bottles are encouraged, they can stay here or go home each day, it is up to you. We do have a water fountain in the classroom but it will strictly be used to fill up water bottles/containers. I have devised a way to keep water bottles at each students desk without the risk of getting the students desktop or classwork wet. :)  

  Below is a link to our school supply list. These are basic school supplies. Each child will keep their daily supplies (1 box crayons, 1 black expo marker, 3 pencils, 1 pink eraser, 1 glue stick, and 1 pair of scissors) in a pencil box in their desk.  All extra supplies will be kept in a labeled Ziploc bag for each student. I will distribute as needed throughout the year.

**If you want to go ahead and prepare your child's pencil box and extra supply bag, that would be very helpful. :) The extra supply items can be placed in a gallon Ziploc bag with their name written on it in permanent marker.

Also, we have specials first thing in the morning (when the grrass is still wet with morning dew). Please have your student wear their PE shoes to school on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Students WILL NOT have time to change shoes before PE. However, if you would like to provide your student with an extra pair of shoes for the rest of their school day, we will have time to change shoes after PE.
