Meet the Teacher Video: Mrs. Lamperski 'Meet the Teacher' Video- Welcome Back! :)

    Welcome to 4th Grade!

This is a different start to our school year! Right? :) Students and families, we will work together for the best benefit of your children, and this will be a superb school year inspite of the delayed start. We can do this.

It is going to be such a great school year! I am so happy for each student in my class. I can hardly wait to meet you! :) This year, we will dig deeper into literature and informational texts, expand our comprehension skills even further, develop our writing skills, and discover great new topics in Social Studies!

Soon, you will receive an invitation to connect to ClassDojo. Please connect to my teacher account when you see it. I post alot of important information, photos, and reminders through ClassDojo. In return, you can message me anytime there as well.

Do you know the #1 strategy or habit a learner can do to help his or her learning in ALL subjects areas?... READING! Yes, that's it! Reading a book daily for at least 20 minutes will increase background knowledge, vocabulary, and even interests! This skill builds student learning in all subjects in school. Please have your child read at least 20 minutes every day. Students, parents, and teachers are an important team to furthering every students' education! :)

I would love to conference with you! Of course, it is a very different start of the school year, but I look forward to meeting with every student and parent. This is a superb time to discuss your child's strengths and ways to grow too.

I love communication! :) Please contact me anytime with any comments, concerns, or queries. You may reach me in a variety of ways: ClassDojo, email, phone call, handwritten letters, and/or notes written in your child's planner.

It's going to be a great year!

    Mrs. Lamperski
