Who Am I?

The 2019-20  School Year is my 8th year teaching. This is my  first year at Liberty and I love it here! I have taught 8th grade Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and 9th-11th grade Geometry. I love math! I always had great math teachers, so I wanted to become a math teacher and help students overcome their fear of math! Most people will tell you they don't like math, and I was hopeful to help students understand it and feel confident in math. 

I have my Master's in Educational Leadership and a passion for helping teachers be successful!  I truly believe the success of students is dependent on their relationship with their teacher so ensuring the success of the teacher is key to a successful learning environment.  My role at Liberty Middle School is Instructional Coach and I am getting to do what I love.  I am working with teachers to support them in their practice and improve student learning!!

I am happily married to my husband of 7 years and have two beautiful step kids that are like my own. They live with us 50% of the time, every other week. My daughter's name is Briana and she is 15 years old and my son's name is Clayton and he is 13 years old.  We have a three year old son named Eli.
