Creativity lies at the heart of progress.

  • As a professional, I have often been renuant to accept commonly held concepts that seem to appease the majority. There is little doubt that a nature forged by a dialectical pursuit of reason and logic might lead, as have very often been the case, to controversies; however, it is within this confine that the delight of personal satisfaction surges as a purifying, renovating force that compels me onto further pursuit. In all honesty, as a facilitator, I greatly admire the minds of students who, rather that finding delight in the already ready, launch into an exploration of uncovered or covert knowledge. It is this expectation(s) that I urge those who are enrolled in the composition courses to adopt. Let no one determine the parameters of success for you; rather, let the forces of your natural propensity be your guide.
