Welcome message:

Welcome to College Algebra or Algebra II!  Things will look a little different this year due to Covid, but I will help you learn what you need to know no matter what happens.  I plan to use Microsoft Teams and Khan Academy for Algebra II and Microsoft Teams and MyMathLab for College Algebra.  

Office Hours:

Second half of ALPHA time.  I am also available via email M-F.  I will answer emails within 1 business day.  

Videoconferencing:

This will be through Microsoft Teams.  

Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.  If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device. 

Homework and grades:

We will be using Khan Academy (Algebra 2) or MyMathLab (College Algebra) for homework.  We will have daily exit tickets.  Assessment technique to be dermined.  

Due dates:

Due dates for homework are listed in Khan Academy (Algebra 2) and MyMathLab (College Algebra).  The planned schedule for each week will be under your class on Microsoft Teams.
