Welcome to Maplewood Elementary's Art Page.   I am going to be sharing activites that will help to foster creative thinking during our time of online learning. My hope is for my students to view their world from a creative lens.  I will give weekly assignments to students that will cover our visual art standards, as well as, provide a creative outlet for students during our usual set of circumstances.  I am aware that not everyone has the same set of supplies at home so I will give a range of adaptations for your child. 

I am creating a check off sheet that you can send back via email showing that your child completed the art activties offered.  You do not have to send pictures of the artwork, but if you would like I would love to see them.  When emailing me, please place your child or children's name in the subject line. Special areas are assigned two grade levels a week. Please look at the schedule below for what is available for your child's grade level.  My hope is to provide your child with not only access to art, but also a creative outlet in their day.

Please let your child know how much I miss seeing them, but I am an email away. If you or your child would like to set up a phone call please email and we can set up a time.   We are a team and and we will get through this together.

I will be available via email from 8-9am or 12-1pm each day.
