    Please note below when your PE ACTIVITY LOG is DUE for GRADING. Your 1st PE grade entered is the weeks of 4/1-17. We love the pictures and videos we are getting, feel free to keep them coming. We have posted pictures in the GALLERY section on the left of the page. You will have a total of 2 PE grades for Distance Learning. 

    We hope you keep working out daily and follow us and our games throughout the week. We miss you!

    Your 2nd grade for Distance Learning:

    • Grades 4 and 5: Activity Log filled out and turned in dates 4/20-5/1

Tuesday Workouts

  • On Tuesdays you will be playing PE games with Coach Paul.

    These games are optional, but we hope you play and workout along with us.

    These games will help you with all locomotor and cognitive skills. Have Fun, be creative, create your own versions! 

    April 7th game. Have fun practicing spelling while creating your own fitness routine!

    If you have some vocabulary words your classroom teacher has assigned you, use them for this activity. If not, here are some fitness words we commonly use in class:

    K-2: run, hop, skip, jump, walk

    3-5: balance, strength, coordination, endurance, cardio

    Spring is here! What are some things that remind you of the spring season? For me, I always think of bumble bees, bunny rabbits, beautiful flowers, and Easter Eggs. This week, I decided to create an obstacle course using some of these common spring ideas. My challenge to you is to create your own obstacle course at home using ideas that have to do with the spring time. Feel free to use some of my ideas or get creative and make up your own ideas!

    It's WOW Wednesday!! Today and tomorrow are the last days of our plank challenge. I never thought I would be able to plank over 5 minutes, but now I can and I hope you improved daily on your plank challenge! I know Bowden has been planking with me!

    Since the last days of the plank challenge you are to plank as long as you can, I found the planking to Cha Cha Shuffle on YouTube and thought it would be fun for us to do:) WOW, what a workout! Have fun with it!

    A friendly reminder that these workouts are optional, but we hope you continue to workout with us.

    As always, these are optional, but I hope you pick a few out and continue to stay active!!

Thursday Workouts

    These runs are optional, but we hope you run and workout along with us.

    These workouts will work on your cardio (heart) strength, agility, speed.

    Good morning kiddos! Every Thursday, Coach Palmeter will have some type of running/cardio workout for you. Set some goals to get better each week. If you are a power walker like Coach Michael, a goal could be to become a jogger by the end of the month. If you are already a jogger or runner, like Coach Paul and Palmeter, you are working on getting stronger and faster. We will somehow award Mileage Club points so work hard, but above all HAVE FUN!!
