Welcome to Chemistry!
MRS. BRITTANY STEWART
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Chemistry! I want both students and parents to know that I am extremely excited about this 2019-2020 school year and the opportunity to get to know each and everyone of you. If you're anything like me, you take a look around and can't help but wonder what goes on in the world and how everything is impacted by science. Chemistry is a course used to inform students about the properties of matter and how they interact with one another. Along with in-text studies, students will also be required to work in laboratory settings where they will complete designed as well as inquiry labs. Chemistry will be a challenging yet exciting class filled with many interactive activities used to enhance the knowledge of each individual student.
As the instructor I believe it is my responsibility to provide the tools for each and every student to succeed. It is my goal that together, with the help of the student and parent, that each student will not only be successful, but will excel in this course. I believe hard work and dedication pays off and look forward to working with you throughout the year! Please feel free to contact me anytime by phone or e-mail. I will be happy to answer as many questions as possible.
