Hello!

I am originally from a small town in Ohio, in which the population was 358 and is still under 400.  I graduated with a BBA from Kent State University, then moved to Queens NYC where I worked for a nonprofit company that put on charity events.  In 2004 my husband and I moved to the Ocala area where I became a teacher.  I  earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2012.  For 14 years, I taught remedial reading in middle school.  Two years ago I began teaching at West Port High School in the IND and ASD unit. I am happy to be working here for my third year and my 17th year teaching. I have twin 10 year olds who are currently in 5th grade, and an amazing husband who knows how much time has to be put into being a teacher.  We also have three dogs and two cats who are really the ones who run the house!
