7th grade Civics

  • ****Due to COVID-19 school closure, our district will be starting online/remote learning on March 30th, 2020.  Students, please log in to google classroom (classroom.google.com) for your assignments for civics class.  You will need to use your school email and password from home.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.

     

    As always, parents, my lesson plans are posted in the section under 7th grade Civics, labelled Lesson Plans so you can see what they are to work on each week.

     

    ****Office Hours: 10am-11am and 1pm-2pm daily - message me on Remind or through email in case I am working from home that day.

  • Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!  As we take time to recognize the amazing teachers in our district please consider nominating one or more of your colleagues for the honor of Marion County Public Schools Social Studies Teachers of the Year. 

     

    This year three outstanding social studies teachers will be selected to represent Marion County Public Schools as part of the 2020 Florida Council for the Social Studies Outstanding Social Studies Teacher Award Program.  One teacher from each level (elementary, middle, and high) will be selected.  Administrators, teachers, and anyone in the community, including non-school employees such as parents and students can nominate teachers.  Nominations must be received by Monday, May 25th at 5:00 PM.

  • Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.  If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
