         Happy Monday!

Next week, on April 30th, progress reports will be finalized.  All assignment through this week will be included.  In other words the assignment that you have for this week will be on the progress report.  Next weeks assignments will not be.

Continue to do your own work with integrity!

    Mrs. Peters,

    On a stormy morning.

         Hello Students!

I want to thank all of you that are actively participating; you are doing a wonderful job.

I have been giving you a new assignment for the week on Mondays, and I will continue to do so.  The assignment will be posted by 12:00 pm (noon) on Mondays.  I have also been making the due dates mostly on Fridays.   I have decided to change this policy so that you have more working time, and postpone the typical due date until Mondays at noon, also.  This will give  you the weekend to finish.  There might possibley be some exceptions, but this will be the new status quo.

Also, I would like to let you know that when you submit an essay; the turn around time for grading it will not be so quickly as other assignments.  It is very important that I examine your essays closely.

    Miss seeing your smiles,

    Mrs. Peters

    Greetings my beloved students,

As you might have already discovered, AICE has cancelled all May/June examinations.  However (before you jump with joy), Cambridge will be giving students grades based on evidence collected by the teachers.  Cambridge has not specified exactly what this 'evidence' will be.  Therefore, please complete all assignments with integrity and with your own wording and thoughts; in case, I am able to use some of these assignments as evidence.

    Turning in Assignments:

-You may submitt your assignments through google documents (my preferred method) or email (amy.peters@marion.k12.fl.us).

-You may submitt it in the form that works best for you (Example: photo, word doc., scanned paper, etc.)  However, it must be readable!

-Any work that is copied verbatim from another student will receive a zero.

-If work is not completed on the form offered, you must title the assignment and place your name on the paper! (Work on google docs with no name cannot be identified.)  Title the assignment with the handout name.

-Your assignments may be handwritten or typed.

    Attendance:

Yes, I must take attendance.  So... you must let me know that you are receiving my assigments.  Here is what you must do:

-make contact 2 times per week

This weekly contact can be made through submitting assigments,  by emailing me, "Here," or by giving me a call.  So if you  submitted two assigments in one week, you are covered; or you might submit one assigment and one email, stating "here."

If I do not hear from you for an entire week, I have to go back and mark you absent for everyday that week!

P.S. This week (April 1-3), you only need to contact me one time!

Remember, if you have questions just let me know, and you can get contact credit at the same time!

As many of you know Friday, teachers were told that they no longer could work from the school classroom.  As a result, on Friday, I was moving materials from my classroom to my home.  I apologize that I could not respond to your emails.

My new office hours will be from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm Monday - Friday.  However, do not frett if I do not respond to your email immediately, as many of you are emailing.  During the other workday hours, I will be preparing assignment, recording attendance, grading assignents, etc.

I will continue to post weekly assignments on this website and at Google Classroom.

Attendance: Remember you must get in touch with me at least 2 days per week to get perfect attendance for the entire week.  This is any type of contact: a question; an email stating"here;" an assignment submitted; etc.  I just need contact 2 days per week.
