Welcome to 6th grade Math!

    If you must be absent

If you are on exclusion or absent for any reason you can stay up to date by following my TEAMS youtube videos.  Then do the matching assignments in your math etextbook.

Hard Work + Great Attitude = Success

We will be adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimals. Below are links to some of the best web sites to help your child with their math skills.  Additionally we will be using IReady (an individualized math program).

    Dear Parents,

I am so happy to have your child in my Math class this year.  I want you to know that I will do everything that I can to help them to succeed.  First, I do give homework each night.  These assignments should not take more than 15 - 20 min. Assignments can be completed either online or from their books.  Using the online version is preferable. If a particular assignment is giving them difficulty, have them circle or screen print that problem, and we will go over it in class the next day. As you may recall, the more we practice anything, the better we become at it, this is particularly true with Math.  I may be reached by email, phone, or jot a note in your child's agenda planner.  I know that as we work together, this will be a great school year!  Remember, our goal is to help your child to succeed.
