To see what we are doing this year click the link → 20-21 PE Units. We hope that your student will enjoy the may activities that go with each part of the learning sequence. Sometimes we do change the dates of units, many of the skills overlap.

Our grading policy is just a click away → PE Grading Guidelines. We are constantly working with the students as they develop skills. It is our goal to provide activities that we can readily assess. Many skills are observed when working in stations (small groups) we can check off skills and work on improvements while staying active.

The Plan for PE

We stick to the BASICS - Belleview's Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, Be an Active Learner

Safety is paramount in PE rules keep us safe.

We reward positive behavior with Bronco Bucks, Special Jobs and encouragement.

We use a three strike system to guide our students.

Strike one is a Warning(s), Strike Two is Refocus (attention), 

Strike Three is a time-out with the other coach 5-10 minutes depending on the age of the student.

Upon return to the class if the issue has resolved that is the end of it- we forgive and forget.

If the issue continues a note goes home to the parent it is recorded as a CMR with the Dean.

If issues are resolved no other action is necessary.

If issues recur a disciplinary referral will follow.

Disciplinary Referral: Mutual Combat (fighting), inciting a physical altercation, possession of illegal or illicit items, gross insubordination, extremely disruptive, out of area, bullying (verified), etc...
