MCPS Superintendent Appointed to Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention State Advisory Group
MARION COUNTY –Dr. Diane Gullett, Superintendent of Marion County Public Schools, has been appointed to the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (JJDP) State Advisory Group by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
The JJDP State Advisory Group currently consists of persons from across the state who have training, experience, or special knowledge of the juvenile justice system. All members of this group are appointed by the governor and are responsible for the advisory of federally allocated funds. The group’s mission is to prevent juvenile delinquency in Florida.
“I am truly honored to be asked to serve in this capacity and look forward to supporting the prevention of juvenile delinquency across the state of Florida,” Gullett added following the announcement.
