Mission Statement
It is the Mission of the Facilities Department to provide safe, well-built and cost efficient learning environments for the purpose of educating the children of Marion County, while striving to incorporate the most advanced technologies and innovative construction techniques available, in order to accommodate changing methods of instruction.
Attention General Contractors and Construction Managers
Each person or General/Building Contractor who desires to bid on or submit a Professional Qualifications Statement as a General Contractor or Construction Manager for a school construction project must submit an application and be approved for pre-qualification. Certificates of Pre-Qualification shall be considered valid for not more than one (1) year from date of School Board approval, valid through June 30th of the following year.
It shall be the responsibility of each contractor to renew their existing certificate each year, through the pre-qualification process. Please check back at the beginning of March each year for advertisement of the Pre-Qualified process. All advertisements will be listed under the Projects/Services Advertised tab.
