Summer 2026
IMPORTANT REMINDER: To be eligible for VPK in the Summer of 2026,children must be 5-years-old on or before September 1, 2026 and attending kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.
Marion County Public Schools will be offering Summer VPK at Fordham Early Learning Academy and Winding Oaks Elementary.
Inorderto be considered for a seat in a Summer VPK program, applicants must have a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) that has not been used during the school year. To apply, follow the steps below:
Step #1: Obtain your child’s Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the online Parent Portal located on the Early Learning Coalition website: https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com/
Step #2: Complete the New Student Online Enrollment (NSOE) process for Marion County Public Schools. Current MCPS Families: https://skyward.iscorp.com/scripts/wsisa.dll/WService=wsedumarioncofl/skyportlogin

This application will allow for applicants to be issued with a student ID number to enroll in Marion County Public Schools
2025-2026 school year students that were enrolled in a program for services with an IEP have a student number and do not need to follow this step
Step #3: Complete the Summer VPK Intent Form and include the Student ID issued:

Step #4: Email your signed Certificate of Eligibility from Step #1 to [email protected]
