MCPS Public Relations
Public Relations produces and co-produces a variety of local programs including Snippit Stories, Marion County's Golden Apple Teacher Gala, the Ocala Christmas Parade, Marion County School Board meetings and work session, Marion County Student Media Festival, Charlie Dixon Music Festival, and other original programs throughout the year.
These productions use the latest digital technology and equipment to deliver high-definition programming via YouTube and social media platforms.
The PR department also responds to hundreds of media inquiries each year at the local, regional, state, and national levels. Team members also respond to public inquiries for information, manage social media, respond to school-level work orders, maintain audio/video production studios in all schools, and ensure audio systems are operational with vendor support as needed.
