Psychoeducational Evaluation

Psychological Services does psychological and educational assessments for many different types of learning and social-emotional difficulties in children who are in pre-kindergarten through 12th Grade. These assessments may include individual psychological testing, clinical interviews, and/or behavioral observations.

Evaluations may be used for placement into exceptional student education programs such as those for specific learning disabilities, mental retardation, emotional handicaps, and intellectual giftedness. Testing may also provide valuable educational and instructional information for parents, regular classroom teachers, and school administrators.

Requests for evaluation should come through the school administration or guidance office.
