Gifted & Talented Student Information

About our Gifted Program

Our goal is to serve as a resource in providing information to help students, parents, and teachers understand the specialized needs and characteristics of students in the Gifted Program.

We provide guidance to students through provision of Gifted services and during individual student meetings that will enable the student to be successful in and out of the classroom. We strive to support an educational atmosphere in which gifted students will move toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and psychological growth and maturation, while making good choices, and setting goals that enable them to be successful in high school and in the future. This is measured through goals and objectives stated in their Gifted Educational Plan (EP).

Gifted EPs are updated every three (3) years in elementary and middle school and once during high school - however if adjustments need to be made, any member of the team, including the parent/guardian, can request a meeting sooner.

Please speak to the Teacher of the Gifted at your child's school for individual questions or support.

However, if you need further assistance, reach out to our District Gifted Resource Teacher.
