Lori Conrad joined the Marion County School Board in November 2022 for a special two-year term. Voters re-elected her in August 2024.
A Golden Apple teacher and finalist for Marion County's 2012 Teacher of the Year, Conrad has more than 25 years of experience in public education with MCPS. She is a certified Elementary Education teacher and holds certificates in Early Childhood Education and Library Services.
Conrad earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Saint Leo University and her Primary Education Certification from Florida Southern College.
Conrad and her husband, Tom, have two children. All four are products of Marion County Public Schools.
Her Board term runs 2024-2028.
