Raptor Printers and Scanners 

The Safe Schools Department maintains a supply of new printers and scanners, ensuring that when schools encounter an equipment issue, it can be quickly corrected, allowing normal safety processes to continue without prolonged interruption. Raptor Technologies, LLC products play a vital role in the day-to-day operations at all schools and some District offices. The Visitor and Volunteer Management, Drill Manager, and Accountability and Reunification platforms enable MCPS to utilize these combined solutions to maintain a level of security for our students, staff, and visitors.
     • Maintain accurate and reliable record-keeping for visitors and volunteers
     • Quickly and easily create reports for the District and at individual school campuses
     • Documented 13,039 volunteer applications and approximately 92,540 volunteer hours
     • Four schools with over 4,000 volunteer hours, two schools over 5,000, one with over 6,000 and
        another with over 7,000           
     • Secure online system speeds the application process for volunteer demographic screenings
