What is Controlled Open Enrollment?
Controlled Open Enrollment is a public education delivery system that allows school districts to make student school assignments using parents' indicated preferential educational choice as a significant factor.
Please Note: Transportation is not provided for out-of-area placements.
What is the process for applying for Controlled Open Enrollment in Marion County Public Schools?
Review schools listed below with available seats. If a school is not listed, it is currently over 90% enrollment and has no available seats for out-of-area or "Controlled Open Enrollment" placement. To apply, or be placed on a waitlist, submit a School Choice application by following the link to https://www.marionschools.net/schoolchoice.
