General Psychology 1 & 2 Course Description

In the General Psychology 1 & 2 we will focus on all aspects of human behavior.  Students will be required to participate in class discussions.  The course is lecture based with considerable student participation.  The focus will be on critical thinking skills and will examine psychology from 3 perspectives: 

  • Behavior is a biopsychosocial event
  • We operate with a two track mind that allows for dual processing
  • Psychology explores human strengths as well as challenges.

 

We will have the capability to customize the class to a certain extent.  If you have a specific interest please

let me know.  Be thinking about what you might like to know more about in the field of psychology.  The
