Welcome to the Welding program at MTI!  Students in our welding program will be prepared for employment in a variety of welding-related occupations.  Blueprint reading, pipe welding principals and major welding processes are just a few of the many skills students will learn.  In addition, students have the opportunity to become AWS Certified Welders.  

Students completing the two courses in our welding program will earn 300 hours towards post-secondary welding programs at Marion Technical College.  The welding program provides several opportunities for students to design and create projects, utilize tools and procedures and secure hands-on experience to prepare them for employment opportunities.
