    Teachers use the technology as a regular part of their daily instruction. Students utilize technology to develop Power Point presentations, to do written documents, to do research and reports, as well as to develop media productions. A science lab was developed to be part of the weekly instruction that students receive. Students go to the lab to learn about and to utilize the scientific method to learn about their world. Students learn to work cooperatively in an inquiry approach to science. A computer lab was outfitted to teach students how to utilize the many programs available at the school. The school has also incorporated a MakerSpace Lab that all students rotate through on a weekly basies.

  • Madison Street Academy

    Curriculum diversity and integration is Madison Street’s most distinguishing feature. Instruction is personalized, ensuring high standards of academic and behavioral success. The Academy provides an excellent background for students interested in advanced studies or the International Baccalaureate program at the high school level. We also provide remediation for those students who need extra support with their academic achievement.

    Oakcrest Elementary School of International Studies has received IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization) authorization to offer the PYP (Primary Years Program). This well-established and respected program will provide all of our students with the skills and attitudes to be highly successful, productive, responsible, internationally minded citizens who have a wealth of relevant 21st century skills.

  • Reddick-Collier Elementary

    Reddick-Collier Elementary School believes that all of our students are capable of achieving at high levels in all areas of the curriculum if given the appropriate instruction. Our primary focus is to increase student performance, specifically in reading, writing, and math, as reflected in our School Improvement Plan. Other state goals are addressed as well with the belief that strength in these areas will impact the focus and success of increasing student performance.

    Sunrise Elementary is a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) magnet school partnering with Discovery Education to provide all students an enriching academic experience. Students engage in rigorous learning where the 4C’s of 21st Century learning (Creativity, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, and Communication) are a valued part of the learning environment. We believe in the mantra, "You can't be what you can’t see," so we provide opportunities for our students to learn from STEAM professionals and imagine themselves in these roles through imaginative learning.
