  • Students have a range of options including

     

    • Magnet Schools
      Magnet schools offer theme-based, innovative instruction. Marion County offers magnet programs which meet student interests by addressing a number of themes. Magnet themes include: the arts, Cambridge AICE, Advanced Studies/Early College, International Baccalaureate, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), and Health Sciences.

    • Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs
      Career and Technical Education (CTE)/Career Academy programs at the middle and high school levels have specifc programs of study with many leading to industry certifcations. Students in grades 6–12 are provided opportunities to participate in a continuum of education connected to the following career pathways. Our career and technical academies include biomedical sciences, biotechnology, teacher education, robotics, design entrepreneurship and logistics. Our Marion Technical Institute o˜ers a number of additional programs students may choose to explore to supplement their standard high school curriculum.
