  • Undergraduate Admissions at Florida Gulf Coast University

Florida Guilf Coast University is looking forward to another year of working together to aid our high school seniors with applying to FGCU.

Due to COVID-19, the University has restricted all recruitment travel for Fall 2020 but will allow scheduled Virtual Visits, as well as “self-guided” on campus tours for perspective students and their families.

Here are a few updates regarding the Fall 2021 application process:

    • Early Decision Application Deadline: Nov 1, 2020. Students will be notified in December of acceptance or deferral to the regular decision pool. Deferral provides students the opportunity to re-submit higher test scores or transcripts that meet admissions requirements before the March 1st
    • Regular Decision Application Deadline: March 1st, 2021
    • FGCU is currently requiring applicants to submit test scores for admissions. Minimum of 1070/SAT or 21/ACT.
    • Minimum GPA required: 3.0 weighted
    • Students will be required to complete an Admissions Essay (essay topics can only be found in the application).
    • Students can apply via Common App or fgcu.edu.

Hopefully the information above was helpful. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
