Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.  If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.

All information and assignments for my classes (both on campus and online) will be through Google Classroom. Please locate your period and use the corresponding code to sign up for the correct section.

Students will need to go to their Marion County Student Desktop and click the Google apps link at the bottom of the screen and then click the Google Classroom icon in order to access their courses.

Students will need to click JOIN A CLASS using the code I give to you. Once you do this, my course will appear in your course listing. All assignments will be posted and collected in Google Classroom. If you have trouble accessing your course, please let me know as soon as possible.

All virtual classes will meet daily through Microsoft Teams (using video meetings), which is located on your student desktop.

Once you have logged in, select the office 365 tile.

Once you are in Office 365, select the Teams icon to access your classes.

This year we will explore American Literature at it's finest!

I am so excited to delve into American Classics like "The Crucible" and 'The Great Gatsby"  and many more this year!

Writing and Reading may not always seem like the most fun things to do, but when you can get into an interesting piece of text full of excitement and much to learn, reading and writing becomes a  breeze!
