I will be using Microsoft Teams this year. It will be the home for everything from Video Calls, assignments, quizes, and class communication to name a few things. You will not need to have an access code to join our class they will be automatically enrolled. Your student will access Microsoft Teams from their MCPS Desktop. Once on the desktop look for the orange icon that says Outlook 365 (if they are asked to log in with their office username, it is their student email address and regular portal password. A student email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org), then select the team that corresponds to the right class (ex. math, science, etc.).
The students also have access to their student email account from the same Office 365 tile.
After clicking on the Outlook 365 icon you will find the purple Teams Icon.
Note: the icons that your student sees will be different than what I have access to.
The additional tiles within their student desktop portal that will be used in conjunction with their assignments are :
