• This year, all of us need to be prepare for the unpredicatability of the times, therefore all of us will learn how to use and work with Microsoft Teams. This is a new platform for ALL of us.  I expect that we will have bumps along the way, but it is nothing that we cannot work out together.  Both my face to face and ONLINE students will need to know how to access and submit their classwork on MS Teams.

     

    Teams is an app on the Marion County student portal. It is the selected online platform for distance learning.  It is important to know that I will be using Teams in my classroom for face to face students as well as for Distance Learning.   In the event that students must switch to distance learning, it is important for students to be prepared to use this platform. Teams is a way for students to collaborate, submit assignments, and join video calls all in one place. Students can also have online notebooks, chat with other students or their teacher, and submit assignments through the app.

    How do I get to Teams?

    Step 1: To access this resource, students must first log in to their portal.

    Step 2: After logging in to their portal, students will need to click on the "Office365" icon.

    Step 3: Students need to click on the Teams icon.

    Step 4: Students will need to find this class (Mrs. Normand, Civics or Civics Advanced) and click on the correct Team.

    Step 5: Students are now inside of their 7th grade Civics Team.
