• Exceptional Student Education - Inclusion

As a dual-certified teacher, with a heart for reaching ALL learners, inclusion is near & dear to my heart. We believe students are students first and foremost-not called by their label but their name. "Special education" is not a place but supports and services put in place to help your student succeed and meet grade level expectations. In this model of inclusion, students receive core content from certified general education teachers and additional support from an exceptional student education teacher within the general education classroom. My background and training in exceptional student education best practices, universal design for learning, & explicit, systematic, multi-sensory instruction allow me to make learning accessible for all students. I am excited to walk with you through this journey and provide encouragement and support along the way.
