• Welcome to Physical Science!

Students explore the fundamental principles of chemistry and physics. Computer-based and traditional laboratory techniques are used to obtain, organize and analyze data. Conclusions are developed using both qualitative and quantitative procedures. Topics include, but are not limited to: measurement, atomic structure, electron configuration, the periodic table, chemical bonding,  properties of liquids and solids, solutions, stoichiometry, energy, forces, and wave mechanics.

In Mr. Gleason's classroom, we are here to learn, synthsize and apply the rules of  to our every day lives. Students are responsible for daily bellwork, classwork, homework, quizzes and exams. Not all work is graded, but all work is essential to understanding how science works in all aspects of human life.

If you are absent, please make sure to take a look at our Learning Management System to find out what you may have missed. And please ask Mr. Gleason if you have any questions.

Mr. Gleason is available Monday - Friday for ALPHA TIME. Please do nto hesitate to contact me if you are needing help. My door is always open to those who want to excel!
