    Description

Earth Science is the study of the Earth and the surrounding universe. In this course, we will focus on 9 major units: Plate Tectonics, Earth’s History, Atmosphere, Weather, Water Cycle, Oceans, Space Exploration, Solar System, and Stars & The Universe. Emphasis is placed on the understanding of scientific concepts and how these concepts can be used and related to everyday phenomenon. Students will be challenged to look at science as a way of knowing and understanding: the things that happen in our world, their lives, and the environment.
