    Student Desktop Applications and Information

    Students should have their log in information and passwords for the desktop in their binder.  If they don’t please contact me in class dojo so I can send you a copy of that sheet. 

     

    Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.) These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child's image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.

    iReady (must be accessed through the student desktop)

    On an iPad®

    1. Download the free iReady for Students app from the App Store®. iPads must be compatible with iOS® 11 or above, such as the iPad Air®, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro®, or any other device that meets the requirements listed here.
    2. Open the Safari® browser, enter their school portal URL (https://desktop.marion.k12.fl.us/) and login, and click on the iReady icon.
    3. Click “Open” when prompted to open this page in “i-Ready”

    From a Computer

    1. Run our System Check (https://cdn.i-ready.com/systemcheck/) to confirm that your device and internet connection meet i-Ready System Requirements.
    2. Log onto the MCPS desktop, (https://desktop.marion.k12.fl.us/) and then click on the iReady icon.

  •  Think Central

    Think Central (Math Application on the desktop)

    • Log onto the student desktop
    • On the bottom choose “eTextbooks”
    • Click on think central
