This term, scholars will utilize the Zoom program to attend virtual Math class. Zoom is a free web conferencing tool that is widely used in education for enabling online meetings, and virtual presentations. Please review the following expectations below.
Please review these commitments regularly with your child to ensure his/her participation during Zoom meetings is respectful, responsible, and scholarly.
Zoom Meeting Expectations
BE ON TIME: Make sure you are on time, check your tech before you start, and be prepared to take notes.
PRESENTATION: Check your surroundings, remind your family that class is about to begin, and that we can see you.
MUTE YOURSELF: Be sure to mute your microphone when joining our team meeting and only unmute yourself when asked to do so.
HEADPHONES: Support your family by reducing distractions. Wear headphones if you have them.
PARTICIPATION: Try your best, pay attention to directions, respect fellow teammates, and be
an active participant. If you have a comment/question, please click the “raise hand” icon and I will ask you to unmute yourself. Only one person will be presenting at a time to reduce the
amount of chaos, just like in class
