• Welcome to Mrs. Vincze's Music Room!

Hello! My name is Mrs. Vincze and I am the new music teacher here at Emerald Shores. I am excited to meet all of my new students and to begin making music with all of you. We will be playing instruments, listening and moving to music. In order to keep us all safe, we will be wearing masks in the music room and are not allowed to sing-yet. I am hopeful that this will change soon, but in the meantime, we'll be creative about different ways to explore and to make music. I will be piloting an online program called, "Quaver" which is a really entertaining way to learn all about music. My students at South Ocala loved it. I am hoping that you will too!  One of the things that I like to do is to give out stars for great work in music class. Parents, if your child comes home with a glittery star, please ask them to tell you what they did in music class that day. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns regarding your child and his or her musical learning. I can be reached by email at Elisabeth.Vincze@marion.k12.fl.us

  • Hello Students!!!

I love to collect and share your artwork! When you enter my room, I have a bulletin board that's just for you! Please bring in any drawings, paintings, sketches, etc. that you would like to share with the students in our school.

    Thanks for your help!

    Mrs. Vincze

Cantique de Jean Racine, by Gabriel Faure

Here is a link to my favorite piece of music. I love it because the melody is the most beautiful one that I've ever heard. The language that the piece is written in is French. I was fortunate to sing this when I was in college at The New Englsnd Conservatory of Music. I have loved it since then. Do you have a favorite piece of music?
