I was born and raised in Venezuela. Upon graduating from Colegio Universitario Jean Piaget in 1983, with a degree in Psychopedagogy, my teaching career began!  I have taught in Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Florida, all together for 30+ years. I lived and taught in Seminole County, Florida for 25 years until relocating to Ocala. This is my first year at Shady Hill Elementary and I am so excited about this new chapter in my teaching career! I am looking forward to teaching E.L.A. and social studies to Marion County's best students. I have 2 sons, Miguel and Manuel. Miguel is a junior at Rollins College and Manuel will be a freshman this fall at UCF. I am engaged to Eugene (the reason I relocated to Ocala) and in our free time we enjoy riding his motorcycle and kayaking.
