I have been teaching for 25 years.  My first nine years I taught at College Park Elementary School,  I have been at Stanton Weirsdale ever since.  I taught several grades starting with second grade, then third grade and now I am teaching 4th grade.  I was born in Meadville, Pennsylvannia, but my family moved to Florida when I was two years old.  I was raised in Marion county and graduated from Vanguard High School.  I received my AA degree from the University of Central Florida, my BA in Elementary Education from the University of Florida.  I also have a K-12 Reading certification from the University of Florida and a certification in ESE from Florida Southern University. I am currently working on a certification in ESOL.

I am married and have two sons that are business men in Marion County.  I have nine grandchildren that I enjoy.  My favorite thing to do when I am not working is gardening or swimming.
