Syllabus

  • According to stanford.edu, a syllabus is your guide to a course and what will be expected of you in the course. Since this year is probably the first time you've had these documents, let's take some time to explore them so that you know what's expected of you for math. 

     

    Objective:

    Preview the course by reading and understanding the course syllabus and understand the concept of Standards-Based Grading. 

     

    Assignment:

    • Read the Syllabus

     

    On the Syllabus tab of your foldable answer the following questions:

    1. How do I demonstrate mastery of a standard? 

    2. What are the advantages of standards-based grading? List at least 2.
