    Week of 5/6/20

From now on, our weeks will run from Wednesday to Tuesday. All work will be due by Tuesday 5/12/20

Topic: Rome, Lesson 5. Early Christianity. Students should be learning about the origins and basic beliefs of the Christian religion and how it impacted the Roman Empire.

There are 3 required activities for this lesson. All 3 activities will be in Google Classroom.

    • Rome, Lesson 5, Early Christianity. This is a Google document question set that goes with the workbook pages. I have also posted a very short video with the assignment that shows students how to avoid a couple of common mistakes many of them are making. Please watch the short video before you open the question set document.
    • Edpuzzle - AD and BC Explained. This is a video with a few questions embedded in the video.
    • Later in the week, I will put a quiz up.

Go to Google Classroom to answer the daily question and then begin working. Find a time each day to log onto your MCPS Desktop and go to your Google Classroom.  Always begin in Google Classroom because there are instructions and short videos for each assignment.

Click here for a short video showing you how to complete the Google Document.

Go to Google Classroom first. If you have questions during the day, or just want to say hi, send me an email or a private comment in Google Classroom, since I'll be working at home. If you really need to speak to me, send me a phone number and I'll give you a call.

Office Hours: If you email me between 8:00 – 9:00 am, or between 1:00 – 2:00 pm, I’ll reply to you right away. If you need to talk to me, just tell me you need to talk and include your phone number and I’ll give you a call.

Please be advised of the following:

Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.  If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
