    Social Studies: Studies Weekly week 9 "Where Do You Live?" Read through the digital article (it will read it to them) and then teach your child their phone number and address.  Make sure they know what city, state and country they live in. (Go to students desktop and click e-textbooks at the bottom.  Then click on Studies Weekly icon.) SS.K.G.2.1

    Access MyOn via the MCPS portal - Around the Park:  Listen to the story about shapes at the park. You will describe the shapes that are at the park and compare them. Observe the pictures carefully to see all the different 2D/3D shapes. 

    Activity: Fold a paper in half, label the top of each side 2D and 3D. You will draw things that are 2D and 3D that you have seen at the park or from the story. Illustrate and label your pictures. 

    *optional activity for math skills- use play dough, popsicle sticks or tooth picks to build 3 dimensional shapes MAFS.K.G.2.5
