      • Interfaith and the Marion County Homeless Council recently received grant money from United Way to help people in Marion County that have been totally laid off or had their hours reduced by 50% or more - due to COVID-19. Eligible applicants can apply for up to $1,000 for rent, mortgage and/or utilities assistance. Required documentation includes a verification letter from employer, pay stubs, lease, recent statement (and more). For more information contact Interfaith at (352) 629-8868 x200 or the Marion County Homeless Council at (352) 732-1369. Please note, this funding is ONLY for those that can verify their employer laid them off or reduced their hours by 50% or more. PLEASE CALL FIRST for details.
